The control of the upper half of the kiln tunnel requires a ceramic fiber fire baffle (ceramic fiber plate is also called aluminum silicate plate, which belongs to the larger high temperature resistant fiber plate). The vertical position of the fire baffle can be adjusted through the outside of the kiln roof. The control of the kiln can be achieved by building a fire wall with refractory bricks, and the vertical position is fixed. In the actual production process of the roller kiln, the kiln fire baffle and the fire wall can play a key role in ensuring that the airflow in the thermal insulation zone moves in the direction of the quench zone.

 

1. Adjust the function of heating curve

In order to meet the requirements of fast and slow temperature rise in the process, without affecting the overall rapid sintering, a ceramic fiber board fire baffle and fire wall can be set up in front of the position where the temperature rises sharply to achieve the temperature rise in the area.

 

2. Up and down diversion

From the dynamic principle of fluid mechanics, it can be seen that due to the influence of the geometric pressure head, the hot gas in the kiln always has a tendency to move from bottom to top. In addition to the difference between the upper and lower burners of the firing zone, the horizontal airflow velocity of the upper and lower channels in the kiln Differences and temperature differences are unavoidable. At this time, the gap between the kiln fire baffle and the fire wall can be used to adjust the up and down movement distribution of the airflow to balance the heating effect of the product during the firing process.

 

3. Shutoff

As the fire baffle and fire wall set on the kiln, it can directly block the airflow movement. To a certain extent, the fire baffles and fire retaining walls set in the preheating zone can play an auxiliary role in the adjustment of the fire baffles of the main fan of the kiln head, the main exhaust air duct and the exhaust air duct. The blocking effect of the fire baffle and the fire wall is even more important.

 

4. Horizontal diversion effect

The horizontal movement distribution of the airflow can be adjusted by setting the ceramic fiber board fire baffle and the fire retaining wall in the kiln tunnel, so as to balance the heating effect of the product during the firing process and ensure the uniform heating of the product in the horizontal direction.
